68,500 injection molded seats for the San Francisco 49ers stadium. Seat structures, back rests, and handles produced from nylon glass fiber composites using gas-assist injection molding to achieve hollow, structurally optimized wall sections.

8 molds arrived from an overseas production facility. None were production-ready for the local press line. Every mold required retrofit: interface components, water systems, hydraulic systems modified to match the press specifications. Worn components repaired. Inserts reconfigured for multi-part capability.

Each mold was inspected, retrofitted, trialed, analyzed, and validated for production. Tooling issues and quality issues were identified and resolved through production trials.

All 68,500 seats delivered on time.
